Working Holiday Visas are visas that allow you to enter into Australia for 12 months and work while you travel around Australia.
You must be aged between 18-30 years and currently Australia has reciprocal Working Holiday Maker arrangements in effect with the following countries: United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China, Finland, the Republic of Cyprus, France, Italy, Belgium, Estonia and Taiwan.
There is also the "Work and Holiday" Visa option for people from Chile, Iran and Thailand.
If you fulfill certain prerequisites you may be able to extend your Working Holiday Visa for an additional 12 months. This is done by doing what is referred to as “Seasonal Work” in “Regional Australia”. This usually involves, for example, working on an Australian farm picking fruit, nuts and other crops for a period of 3 months.
Once you have contacted us the first thing we will do is liaise with you and make sure you are going to meet the requirements of the visa. The application fee for the department is not refundable so you don’t want to waste your money.
Next, we will make sure that you are satisfying the requirements as best you can. The forms can be a bit difficult to understand at times and we will make sure you have put down the information the department wants to know.
